Indus School of Engineering was established in the year 2009 to fulfill the growing needs for quality engineering education in Odisha and Eastern India. As the Indian economy takes off at an amazing pace, the need of the hour is qualified with well-trained technical manpower to man the ships of tomorrow's industry. Indus School of Engineering aspires to fill this gap in terms of what the industry needs in the near future and what our present educational system is able to produce in terms of high quality professionals.

The Promoters
Indus School of Engineering is promoted by the Indus Educational and Charitable Trust, Bhubaneswar, headed by Mr. P. B. Reddy, Chairperson.

Mr. P.B. Reddy has over 40 years of experience in the aviation sector which includes long years of service in the Indian Air Force and the Indian Airlines. He was awarded the President's Award during the 1971 Indo-Pak engagement. Mr. Reddy is presently the Chief Instructor of the Hyderabad College of Aviation Technology, Hyderabad.

The Promoters
Dr. Ravi P. Reddy, Director (Academic)
Dr. Ravi P. Reddy heads the academic team at the college. He has a B.Tech(Hons.) from the IIT, Kharagpur, and a Ph.D. from the University of Houston, Texas, USA. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the Univ. of Houston and has more than 15 years of teaching experience, including 11 years as the Deputy Director of the NIST,Berhampur. Dr. Reddy has written textbooks on 'C' programming and English Vocabulary. His literary interests can be seen on his personal website www.ravipreddy.com.

Dr. Ragoor Sujatha, Director (Finance)
Dr. Ragoor Sujatha has an MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, AP and a EPBM Diploma from IIM, Kolkata, P.G.D.M. (XIMB,Bhubaneswar) , She handles the dual roles of Senior Medical Officer and Director of Finance. Her academic interests are spread over medicine and management.

Mr. B.K.Dash, Director (Administration)
Mr. Basanta Kumar Dash heads the admin team and helps the management of the academic program. He has an M.Tech from BE College, Howrah and over 10 years of teaching experience in Electrical Engineering with special focus on Control Systems.

Ms. Prasanna Pati, Director (HR)
Ms. Pati has a P.G. in Industrial Economics from Utkal University, Odisha and MCA, M.Tech from the BPUT, PGDAIT(Siegen University,NRW,GERMANY), International Certifications in Oracle and Java Technology and has over 10 years experience in Training,Teaching and Management. She is the CEO of Vidyog Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. S.S. Mohanty, Director (Honorary)
Mr. Mohanty has done M.Sc. followed by a DIIT from IIT, Kharagpur. After a long managerial stint in industries like E.I.D Parry and American Cyanamid, he got involved in training as a part of Career Launcher. His area of interests lies mainly in Personality Development Training.
